A New Leader for a City That Needs One
RISE Mzansi has officially launched Lukhona Afika Mnguni as its mayoral candidate for Johannesburg. This is not just the announcement of a candidate.

It is the beginning of a campaign to rebuild a city that has been neglected, mismanaged, and captured for too long. Johannesburg does not have a shortage of ideas.

It has a shortage of capable, accountable leadership. This campaign is about changing that,  with leadership grounded in competence, integrity, and a commitment to serve the people of this city.

Our People's Policies

Review our policy documents for a South Africa we all cherish. New leaders caring for South Africans' rights are vital. Let's unite with RISE Mzansi for a brighter future.

Single Mothers

New leaders must prioritize support for single mothers. RISE Mzansi offers five flagship policies crucial for the future of our nation.

Safety and Security

South Africans' national security hinges on their commitment to equality, peace, harmony, freedom from fear, and pursuit of better lives.

Menstrual Equity

Menstruation isn't optional; it's a reality. South Africa must act to eradicate period poverty and support menstrual health.

Water and Sanitation

South Africa’s water crisis is more severe than our electricity crisis. We can live without electricity, but we cannot live – let alone grow – without water.

Unemployment

2,9-million South Africans of prime working age excluded from work and opportunities need new leaders who will fight for them.
